Refund Policy


Fully recognizing that every individual’s situation is in flux, our goal is to make it easier for you to attend. As a result, we have implemented a risk-free registration. You may cancel your registration through October 25, 2021 for a full refund. After October 25, 2021 and before the first day of the event you may cancel your registration for a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations must be received in writing by the cancellation deadline. We apologize that we cannot issue any refunds on or after the first day of the event. No shows for the event will not receive a refund or credit.


COVID-19 Risk Acknowledgment, Waiver, and Release


When you register you must agree to the following: 

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and its variants, all speakers and registrants must provide evidence that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR that they have received a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours before the start of the event, or they will not be allowed to enter and participate in the event. To ensure a smooth registration process, fully vaccinated speakers and registrants are strongly encouraged to email a PDF copy or photo of their vaccination card to info@rmmlf.org with a reference to Water Law Institute at least 10 days before the start of the program. Otherwise, they should bring their vaccination card or negative test to the event. In addition, the course sponsors will follow the health and safety practices mandated by the host hotel and by applicable federal, state, and local authorities. Those practices will be determined close to the date of the event and may become more or less strict between registration and the event. By registering for and attending this event, you: (1) acknowledge the risks associated with COVID-19 and its variants; (2) agree to comply with any applicable health and safety practices and precautions that may be mandated for the event (regardless of whether federal, state, or local laws mandate the use of such practices),; (3) agree to monitor your own health status and not attend the event if you are symptomatic in any way or believe you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or its variants; and (4) waive and forever release and discharge the course sponsors and their present and former directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and insurers from and against, any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, obligations, costs, expenses, and indemnities of every kind and nature, in law or in equity, known or unknown, fixed or contingent, arising out of or related to exposure to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 or its variants at or in connection with this event.



CLE Credit: This course consists of approximately 12.5 hours of continuing education, including 1 hour of ethics. You must let us know in advance of the conference the states or organizations for which you will need credit (see registration form). Credit hours for states will vary and are subject to each state’s approval and credit rounding rules. Foundation conferences are typically accredited by all mandatory CLE states and Canadian provinces, the AAPL, NADOA, and NALTA, and other professional organizations. Attorneys from certain states may be required to pay an additional fee. The Foundation is a State Bar of California MCLE-approved provider


CPE Credit: NASBA has indicated that if an individual reviews a program and feels that it is relevant to their CPA practice, they can consult with their state accountancy board to request that the course be approved. CPE approval is state-by-state.


Registration Fees: Registration fees Include electronic course materials. Registrations will be accepted only when accompanied by a check, money order, government purchase order or training form, credit card information, or wiring information. No registrations can be processed without payment.

Recording: Audio and video recording, streaming, or other types of live or stored dissemination are not permitted without express authorization from the Foundation.


Privacy: By entering your information and registering for this course, you consent and agree to receive communications from us as to our programs, products, and services and certain programs of our nonprofit partners, provided that you may opt out of receiving email notices at any time. You also consent to our providing your contact information to other course registrants on the course registration list, which may be used by course registrants to invite you to events held in connection with the course.
